Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing, supporting, and maintaining our Safety Management System
  • Participate in facility safety audits
  • Create audit checklist criteria for the site
  • Implement corporate safety programs, policies, and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance on OSHA compliance and industry safety standards
  • Develop and coordinate safety training
  • Provide monthly safety performance and trending reports
  • Support site EHS leads as needed
  • Develop ergonomic and safety evaluation tools, guidance, and checklists
  • Develop training and lead new employee orientation
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Safety/Industrial Systems preferred
  • 2-3 years minimum of supporting safety in manufacturing
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work well with people in various levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal skills
