Job description

Laborer – Asphalt & Parking Lot Maintenance

Starting Pay: $18/hour | Full-Time | Seasonal

We are looking for hardworking, dependable people to join our crew for the upcoming paving and parking lot maintenance season. No experience is necessary—we are willing to train the right person.

Job Duties

Your work will vary depending on the project and may include:

  • Preparing parking lots for sealcoating
  • Sealcoating parking lots and driveways
  • Crack filling
  • Asphalt repairs and patching
  • Line striping and pavement marking
  • General job-site cleanup and preparation
  • Assisting the crew lead with various outdoor projects

What We’re Looking For

The most important thing is that you’re willing to work hard and work outside. This is a physical job that involves being outdoors in hot weather and being on your feet for most of the day.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience necessary—we will train you
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable vehicle to get to our meeting location in Flushing
  • Dependable and willing to show up and work
  • Able to perform physical outdoor labor
  • Comfortable working in hot weather and other outdoor conditions

Schedule & Hours

  • Full-time, 40+ hours per week
  • There is no set daily schedule; work depends on weather and job availability
  • We typically work most days when weather permits
  • Rain days may result in days off
  • Employees meet in Flushing and carpool to job sites in a company truck with the crew lead

Seasonal Position

This is a seasonal position. Employees are laid off during the winter and return the following season when work resumes.

Pay

Starting pay: $18/hour for employees with no experience.
