POSITION SUMMARY: Facilitate in the manufacture of quality friction brake pads through the final inspection and packaging of goods to the customer.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Prepare boxes and other packaging supplies
2. Visually check for lot cards marked "Accept" on pallet and verify product, paperwork, and labels
3. Close visual check for any problems with the product. Report any problems immediately to Lead/Supervisor, use Stop, Call, Wait and segregate any suspect product
4. Keep the appropriate quantity of inspection samples open and place on top layer of pallet for QA pallet Audit for Toyota.
5. Use appropriate "Inspection Standard" as a guide
6. Using standard, assemble kits, apply labels and stamp correct date on unit box
7. Place completed unit box in sub-master box
8. Label and stamp appropriate date code on sub-master box as required by pad type
9. Complete appropriate paperwork as units and sub-master cartons are completed
10. Know and follow correct operation procedure for each product line (example: Honda, Toyota, ADSMO, Mitsubishi)
11. Visually check summary lot card for tapping.
12. Striping as required.

15. Operate PAD DETECTION Machine
16. Operate stripe machine as directed to include machine setup (changing tips, purging tank), inspection of pad before and after stripe. Complete all required reports for production and/or quality.

• Strict adherence to 5S concept
• Notify supervisor, quality personnel, and/or lead operator of quality problems identified during packing/kitting/or PWI procedures

Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions (e.g., working around moving machines in production facilities) and protective clothing or gear such as safety glasses, gloves and safety shoes is required.
