Excellence. Pride. Integrity. Compassion. Trust.Michigan Sugar Company has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Factory Electrician/Instrument Technician, located at the Bay City Factory, 2600 S. Euclid Ave., Bay City, MI 48706.Job Summary:Primary Responsibilities:- Keep electrical systems running to prevent minimum down time in process

  • Work on upgrading or adding new electrical systems
  • Maintain existing electrical systems
  • Perform all electrical and instrumentation work on all equipment and buildings keeping them in proper operating condition
  • Assist in mechanical or fabrication projects when the need arises
  • Plan and execute projects with minimal guidance
  • Lead small work crews during repair season.

Position Qualifications:- State of Michigan Electrical License as a Journeyman or Master Electrician

  • Minimum 5 years industrial electrical experience
  • Certificate of completion of a Instrumentation program.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience preforming instrumentation work.
  • Industrial experience, including knowledge in motor control, relay logic, PLC logic and computer based motor and process control system
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work
