What does a Stretch Lab Flexologist or Stretch Therapist do?

A typical day for a Flexologist or Stretch Therapist at Stretch Lab involves conducting one-on-one assisted stretching sessions with clients, assessing their flexibility needs, and tailoring routines to address specific goals. You will also educate clients on the benefits of stretching, provide guidance on at-home techniques, and maintain accurate session records. Collaboration with fellow therapists and front desk staff is common to ensure smooth scheduling and provide a welcoming, supportive studio environment. Job description

Awaken Your Curiosity in the Lab: Embark on an Exciting Journey with a Lively Diagnostic Team in a Scenic Lakeside Locale
Overview
We are on the lookout for a Medical Lab Technician who embodies a unique blend of curiosity and meticulousness-an individual dedicated to revolutionizing patient care one sample at a time. In this full-time, first-shift opportunity at a thriving community hospital nestled in a stunning lakeside area, you will help transform lives with your contributions to diagnostic testing. You'll join a passionate team of professionals and benefit from a comprehensive rewards package that supports your career aspirations and personal well-being.
Description - Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other analyses- adhering to established guidelines.
  • Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Support specimen collection procedures and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
  • Meticulously document all processes, facilitate training for newcomers or students, and contribute to maintaining the lab's quality standards.
  • Ensure a sanitary and safe work environment while consistently adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
Certifications
  • ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
  • Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
Key Skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration within healthcare teams.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve in fast-paced and high-pressure scenarios.
  • Strong organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail, particularly in the realms of quality control and meticulous record-keeping.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous paid time off starting from your first day, as well as additional vacation and holiday time based on experience.
  • Continuing education opportunities and dedicated professional development support.
  • Holistic total rewards package aimed at supporting your overall wellness.

Translating Numbers into Lives
In this role, your meticulous work aids in guiding critical health decisions-for doctors and patients alike. One slide may confirm a dire infection and dictate antibiotic necessity; another diagnostic test could unveil a metabolic imbalance long before symptoms manifest. Your expertise guarantees the accuracy that healthcare professionals and patients depend on day after day.
A Collaborative Culture
This position is more than a job; it's about joining a vibrant community. You will become part of a team that fosters continuous improvement, participating in seasonal lab discussions, refreshing competencies, and engaging in quality initiatives that cultivate an environment where every idea is valued. You'll have the freedom to join committees, suggest process enhancements, and mentor newcomers.
Discover a Flourishing Community: Embrace the Beauty of Lakeside Living
Imagine a delightful lakeside atmosphere-tree-lined avenues adorned with glistening waters, bustling farmers' markets filled with fresh produce and artisanal spirits, and an engaging array of arts festivals. Quaint neighborhood cafés serve as social hubs, where conversations flow freely, encompassing everything from local happenings to global issues. Picture your days off filled with paddleboarding at dawn or relishing a live concert in the park beneath swaying trees. The community here is welcoming, grounded, and eager to support one another-traits that resonate deeply within the local healthcare community.
Within reach are charming boutiques, scenic nature trails, community theaters, and diversions for every passion-from birdwatching to triathlons. Commuting is smooth, offering convenient connections while providing a better work-life balance than in larger urban centers. Cost of living remains manageable, allowing your earnings to stretch towards memorable experiences-such as rooftop gatherings, spontaneous weekend getaways, and thrilling local sports events.
Making Impact, Cultivating Excellence
In this vibrant location, every lab professional is more than just a technician-they are crucial to the overall health of the community. You will witness the far-reaching impact of your work: expedited diagnoses, improved patient safety, heightened satisfaction, and more sustainable practices. Cheerful notes expressing gratitude not only highlight the accuracy of lab results but are also a testament to your significant role in facilitating timely care.
Now is Your Moment to Elevate Your Role
If you're in pursuit of more than a paycheck-if you yearn for purpose, personal growth, and a positive impact on the community-this is your opportunity. Whether you're newly certified or bringing years of valuable experience, you will find encouragement, challenge, and opportunities for growth here.
Ready to Start Your Next Adventure?
Step into a position where your precision connects with a community that cherishes both advancement and compassion-a place where each lab report brings together real stories of recovery. If you're enthusiastic about committing fully to a career that celebrates accuracy, teamwork, and care, we are excited to meet you.
Apply today and play a pivotal role in crafting a future where science saves lives-and where science is both human and precise.
