Description - Your Role and Responsibilities

• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection procedures and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Meticulously document all processes, facilitate training for newcomers or students, and contribute to maintaining the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a sanitary and safe work environment while consistently adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
