Job Description
Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.00/ hour
Chuze Fitness is looking for Lift Lab Coaches to lead small group, coach-led strength training sessions that blend personal training attention with the energy of group fitness.
What is Lift Lab?
Lift Lab is a progressive, small group strength training experience designed to:
  • Teach proper lifting mechanics and technique
  • Progress members week-to-week in strength and confidence
  • Deliver a structured, coached workout - not freestyle gym time

Each session includes:
  • Barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell, slam ball, and bodyweight training
  • Heart-rate-based intervals on an Incline Treadmill Trainer
  • Clear coaching cues, regressions, and progressions for all levels

If members are new to lifting, you'll help them learn safely and confidently.
If members are experienced, you'll challenge them to lift smarter and stronger.
This Role is Perfect For:

What You'll Do:
  • Coach and lead Lift Lab sessions with confidence and energy
  • Provide hands-on form correction and individualized coaching in a group setting
  • Create an inclusive, motivating environment for all fitness levels
  • Represent the Chuze brand with professionalism and positivity
What We're Looking For:
  • Background in personal training, strength coaching, or group training
  • Strong understanding of resistance training and movement mechanics
  • Confident communicator who enjoys coaching in real time
  • Passion for helping people lift better and feel stronger

Looking for regular coverage for our Monday & Wednesday 5am sessions, as well as our Saturday 7:15am and 8:30am sessions.
Must have CPT certification from a recognized organization(NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Build a strong rapport and sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent coaching schedule and providing safe and motivating sessions for participants
  • Deliver classes within Chuze guidelines, arriving to each class with prepared with any necessary equipment and music with adherence to licensing agency requirements
  • Complete Chuze onboarding and training materials before teaching live sessions and maintain knowledge of updates
  • Maintain Chuze cleanliness standards during and after sessions and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
  • Engage in the growth and development process by utilizing feedback received from the Fitness Manager through regular check-ins, training, and session evaluations
  • Participate in ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of current credentials
  • Maintain professional relationships through communication and teamwork with all Chuze staff to meet member and facility needs
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled Fitness department meetings and special promotional events to promote participation in Chuze Fitness offerings
  • Utilize the Fitness Communication Platform for essential department communications
