Job description

About the team
StreetEasy, a Zillow Group company, is the leading platform for buying, selling, and renting homes in NYC and New Jersey. Our team is the technical backbone of Revenue Operations and Lifecycle Marketing & Operations, owning the platforms that power marketing and sales-from lifecycle email and in-app messaging to CRM integrations and data pipelines. At the intersection of Marketing, Product, Data, and Sales Operations, we build scalable, automated experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and retention across B2C and B2B journeys.
About the role
The Senior Marketing Technology Architect, StreetEasy partners with marketing, engineering, and external vendors to design, integrate, and operate StreetEasy's lifecycle marketing technology stack - including Iterable, Hightouch, SparkPost, and HubSpot. This role leads complex, cross-functional technical programs from discovery through implementation, aligning data, systems, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities for StreetEasy's marketing ecosystem.
You will get to
- Lead end-to-end technical programs for StreetEasy's MarTech platforms - Iterable, Hightouch, SparkPost, HubSpot - from requirements and planning through implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization.
- Configure, integrate, and operate marketing technology platforms to enable centralized audience management, campaign execution, and reporting, including data contracts, event schemas, and reverse ETL sync cadences.
- Design and manage data flows and ETL processes connecting marketing platforms to Databricks, Salesforce, and Airbyte, ensuring data quality, governance, and timely availability.
- Coordinate cross-team delivery by aligning backlogs, sprint schedules, and release plans across marketing, engineering, data, and vendor teams, resolving dependencies and risks proactively.
- Own the vendor relationships across these owned systems, overseeing our individual tool usage, budgets and evaluating the stack as a whole. At times, this may include overseeing contractors.
- Document and standardize technical and operational processes for marketing technology, identifying automation opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $148,600.00 - $237,400.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $141,200.00 - $225,600.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing technology, technical program management, software engineering, data engineering, or a closely related technical field, including experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Experience working with modern marketing technology stacks - such as Iterable, Braze, Hightouch, HubSpot, or Marketo - and integrating them with internal systems including CRM and data warehouse platforms (e.g. Databricks).
- Experience delivering complex, data-intensive programs in an agile or iterative environment, including coordinating multiple teams and managing technical dependencies.
- You bring a high-ownership, curious, and pragmatic mindset: making well-reasoned decisions amid ambiguity, staying ahead of platform and vendor changes, proactively troubleshooting issues, translating technical trade-offs for cross-functional partners, and sharing knowledge early so the whole team moves faster.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
