Indotronix is seeking a Lead AEM Developer in Pittsburgh, PA, OR Dallas, TX for our Direct client

Position Title: Lead AEM Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA OR Dallas, TX

Ability to work remote/hybrid: 5 days/week in the office with some possible flexibility

Acceptable time zone(s): EST, CST

Days of the week: M-F

Working Hours (Flexible): 9-5

OT: No (Any off-hour/weekend deployments would be flexed throughout the week)

Duration: Contract to hire

Role:

AEM Forms Developer / Engineer (Cloud & AI Exposure)

Overview:

Seeking a hands-on AEM Forms Developer with strong AEM Forms engineering experience, plus exposure to cloud implementations and AI-enabled document processing. Ideal for candidates who have built and integrated forms at scale and are comfortable working in on-prem as well as modern cloud environments.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and AEM Forms

• Hands-on development of: o XDP Forms o Adaptive Forms o HTML5 Forms

• Solid Java development experience

• AEM Custom Component development experience

• Experience integrating AEM Forms with backend systems using APIs

• Strong knowledge of: o XML / XSD o JavaScript o HTML / CSS

• Experience with:

o AEM Workbench o AEM Forms Designer o Sling & OSGi frameworks

• Source control and build tools: o Git o Maven or Gradle

Nice-to-Have / Preferred:

• Cloud experience (AEM as a Cloud Service, Adobe Managed Services, Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Exposure to AI or intelligent document processing, such as: o Intelligent Capture o OCR, classification, or data extraction

• OpenText experience: o Intelligent Capture o Output Transformation Services (OTS) o Exstream / Streamserve

• Front-end frameworks: o React, Angular, or Vue • CI/CD and automated deployment experience

What They’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain AEM Forms solutions

• Build and customize AEM components, templates, and workflows

• Integrate AEM Forms with enterprise systems and third-party platforms

• Support on-prem and cloud-based AEM implementations

• Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues

• Collaborate with designers, architects, and other engineers

Ideal Candidate:

• AEM Forms engineer first, with cloud and AI awareness

• Comfortable in enterprise environments

• Strong problem solver who can work independently as a contractor
