The Up Stream Physiotherapy Clinic operates within a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center that champions patient-centered care. Our facility is fully equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources to administer a wide range of orthopedic treatment modalities. Our team of healthcare professionals works cohesively to support one another in providing holistic approaches to patient care in a fast-paced and supportive clinic environment. You will primarily engage in direct patient care Monday through Friday, in an onsite setting.

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of new patients, including reviewing pertinent medical histories and performing specific assessments necessary to inform treatment planning.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, patient presentations, and feedback from interdisciplinary consultations.
• Engaging with patients and their families to explain evaluation results, discuss treatment options, and collaboratively set achievable goals.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Interacting with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Maintaining productivity levels while managing an accurate schedule and participating in community outreach and hospital marketing initiatives.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and providing mentorship to students or new staff within the facility.
• Actively participating in initiatives designed to improve patient access to care and enhance overall patient experiences.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, focusing primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs, encouraging feedback to foster a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Your expertise will guide patients through evidence-based therapeutic practices, enhancing their strength, flexibility, and overall functional performance.

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• A valid state license for practicing as a physical therapist in Virginia.
• Current certification in CPR, specifically the American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• A genuine passion for helping patients and commitment to advancing your own professional skills.

While prior work experience is not required, candidates with internships or clinical rotations focused on orthopedic rehabilitation will be given preferential consideration. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic practices and genuine enthusiasm for continued learning will enhance your application.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education level. Additional benefits include:
