The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will have a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough evaluations by reviewing patient history and administering specific assessments tailored to the orthopedic population.
• Collaboratively developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, incorporating patient and family input into goal setting.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment protocols, ensuring alignment with each patient's needs and the evolving standards of care.
• Regularly consulting with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient care and promptly documenting any changes in patient conditions that affect treatment plans.

• Engaging in community-based marketing initiatives to raise awareness of the clinic’s services and enhance patient access.

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, customizing treatment plans to ensure they receive the highest quality of care conducive to their unique recovery journeys. To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license for physical therapy, as required by Virginia regulations.
• Current certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
