Job description

Construction Field Manager - DC Power Installations 
Triad Associates (part of the Concordia Wireless family) is a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carries to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects.
 
We’re seeking a motivated Construction Field Manager - DC Power Installations to oversee crews who install, test, and maintain DC systems and backup battery plants at telecom and data center sites.
 
In this position, you will:
  • Install rectifiers, battery strings, BDFBs, and cabling
  • Perform load testing, grounding, and site audits
  • Work from prints and scopes of work
  • Ensure compliance with safety and power standards
  • Manage DC Power Installation Crews (up to 3) and mentor entry level DC Power Crew Technicians
  
Pay Range:  $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually
Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position
THIS IS A TRAVEL ROLE (MIDWEST)

Requirements: 
  • 10+ years of experience in DC power systems (telecom or utility)
  • Familiar with fluke meters, load banks, and battery analyzers
  • Valid driver’s license & ability to travel
  • A WORKING Manager who is willing to work alongside their crews and get their hands dirty is required 
  • Ability to travel out of state 90% of the time for projects (Midwest region including IL, OH, IN, MI) 
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. of equipment/materials 
  • OSHA 10 or 30, CPR, and Lift Certifications a plus
Please note: hours for this job will require you to work evenings at client locations. Working hours are approximately 5 pm CST - 5 am, Monday - Thursday. You will receive a company truck and gas card to commute from our facility in Carol Stream to/from client site.

  • May involve long hours, weekend, or night shifts depending on project timelines.
