MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.

JOB PURPOSE
The Strategy & Planning analyst is a hybrid of traditional jobs in data analytics and strategic planning. Strategy and Planning analyst provides data implications of analyses and serves as a subject matter expert to ensure understanding of findings for the executive management. As a member of the team, The Analyst will be responsible for forecasting data, play critical role in deep-dive analysis for sales results, working cross-functionally to support critical decisions. Supporting long-term capacity planning and providing guidance to leadership for critical business decisions. Performs data analysis related to Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, YTD. Automate operational models to improve accuracy and efficiency of data. Must have a general understanding of entire MPA operations, KPls, executive's directions, and long-term vision.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Reporting: Generate and design daily KPls for daily Morning Reports (PDC Dashboard, KPI Supply Report, etc..)
  • Develop and issue reports on monthly basis related to sales, campaigns, quality sales, accessories sales, and PL2 by source
  • Annual Business Plan : Work closely with the S&P manager to create short and long term plan, assist in researching, industry analysis, statistics, trends, data and forecasts, and market opportunities
  • Data automation : Assist in automating data querying to optimize processes for efficiency
  • Researching: Conducts decision-making research based on management's request
  • Coordination: communicate with all departments to extract data from different departments
  • Communicate with HQ for reporting on the progress (as necessary)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Perform Risk-Based Validation troubleshooting, maintaining/upholding data integrity of MPA database to keep the business running smoothly
  • Query KPl's on weekly/monthly basis to track the overview of the company's performance
  • Collect and analyze qualitative data to issue the daily morning reports and monthly reports
  • Create campaigns through analysis of internal business drivers
  • Work closely with S&P managements to conduct researches for the business plan or on demand request from the executives
  • Support providing reports to MHQ and respond to MHQ requests in timely manner
  • Track PDC activities and KPls and created daily dashboard.
  • Data gathering, researching trends, project implementation based on MHQ request
  • Responsible for supporting an array of activities that advance the strategic vision
  • Performs various other duties such as dashboard development, data, activity reporting, researching trends, and other ad hoc requests. Develops and maintains business data for projects, tools & templates.

WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL
  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

Required Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Statistics or other related subjects
  • Relevant work experience in consulting companies, market research institutes, or Automotive Aftersales industry at OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and /or 1AM (Independent Aftermarket)

SKILLS -ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Use of intermediate software packages (word processing, spreadsheets)
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Employment Type - Non-Exempt
Compensation - Hourly Wage , $60,000.00 - 80,000.00
