Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Shared Services Org (SSO) is seeking a Sales Strategy & Execution Lead to shape and drive business strategy, manage strategic programs, and accelerate sales and business development initiatives across our public sector portfolio. This role spans Strategic Pursuits, Greenfield Sales, and Business Contracts, developing global strategies from go-to-market plans to sales approaches, and managing the programs, processes, and cadences that turn those strategies into short and long-term growth.
As a Sales Strategy & Execution Lead, you will collaborate with senior leadership to identify market opportunities, develop growth strategies, and own the end-to-end operations and programming required to bring those strategies to life - from planning and stakeholder alignment through execution and delivery. You will leverage customer insights and data analytics to create programs, tools, and enablement infrastructure that support strategy execution for field teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong program management discipline, thrives in ambiguous environments, and has a proven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive measurable revenue and market impact.
As a Program Manager, you will independently own end-to-end programs and initiatives that cut across the SSO organization, define program strategy, influence stakeholders across Strategic Pursuits, Greenfield, Business Contracts, and stakeholder teams, and drive operational excellence. You will develop scalable processes and mechanisms, leverage data and metrics to inform strategic decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, thinks both strategically and tactically, and has a proven track record of delivering results at scale across multiple business lines.

Planning & Initiative Development
Identify, plan, gain approvals for, develop, and implement sales/business development initiatives, business plans, and go-to-market strategies - including detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation - that support sales acceleration across all SSO pillars.
Quantify business impact of initiatives to facilitate roadmap decisions and prioritization; translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
Drive growth-focused transformation initiatives and investment opportunities across and between business units; manage program scope, coordinate cross-functional resources, and ensure on-time delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Business Performance Management & Analytics
Establish, design, and implement strategic performance metrics and KPIs that measure operational effectiveness of growth initiatives and their business impact.
Develop dashboards, analytics frameworks, and automated reporting solutions, including predictive analytics for future trends.
