Business Operations Leader – North America Health Solutions

What the day will look like

The Business Operations Leader will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the North America Health Solutions leadership team. Working closely with the Health Solution Practice Leader and Human Capital North America COO, we will help drive execution of business priorities, lead a high-performing operations function and deliver initiatives that enhance performance, colleague effectiveness and client outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to complete business priorities, operating plans and critical initiatives.
  • Supervising operational, workforce and financial performance through relevant important metrics, dashboards and business insights.
  • Supporting workforce planning, forecasting, capacity management and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Delivering operational excellence programmes that improve efficiency, scalability, consistency and colleague experience.
  • Driving business transformation initiatives, including operating model evolution, operational improvement and organizational change programmes.
  • Finding opportunities to improve performance through technology, analytics, automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Leading and developing the North America Health Business Operations team while encouraging a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Building positive relationships across Finance, People Organization, Technology, Legal, Procurement and other enterprise functions to enable effective business execution.

  • Strong financial, commercial and analytical skill, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with a passion for developing inclusive, high-performing teams and building strong collaborator relationships.

Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience is required. Advanced degree preferred.

Salary range or hourly pay range for the position

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $180,000 to $220,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
