Title:Operations DirectorJob Description:

Now Hiring: Operations Director

Compensation: $165,000-$175,000

Shift: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) (On-call) (Some weekend work)

Job Overview

The Operations Director will be responsible for directing and implementing company policy to ensure compliance with contract responsibilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred

  • Manage costs and revenue to meet company top and bottom-line financial goals including:

  • Expanding business within Strategic Accounts / Clients, negotiating increases with Customers, reduction of operating costs, and or changes in schedules or processes

  • Presentations with client and stakeholders - Providing insight to the program and the goals moving forward.

  • Directing operations necessary, both directly and through subordinate managers, to carry out contractual responsibilities and profitability that meet both the Customer's contractual expectations but to exceed their service expectations resulting in the creation of complete Customer satisfaction.

  • Continuous training and development of subordinate managers.

  • Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by implementing comprehensive safety, recognition, and training programs

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.

  • Leading the team for Special Projects and Events for the client.

  • Provide innovations and solutions to the program to ensure continued success and growth.

  • Manage and retain a qualified (individually or through subordinate) staff that is reasonably satisfied with position and compensation, understands, and is trained for their position and has a clear line of sight to the goals and expectations of the company and recognized the impact their contributions to the Company

  • Provide knowledge and insight of best practices for a successful janitorial program

  • Participate in the development and implementation of company goals and strategic vision

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-10 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Janitorial/Facilities experience highly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
