You are eligible to apply if you :
  • Are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Are ab le to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 - August 2028
  • Are e nrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester ( August 2027 - December 2027 )
  • Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Are business proficient in English

As an Internal Sales summer intern within U.S. Global Wealth Management at PIMCO, you will serve as a dynamic resource for the sales team while gaining meaningful exposure to the firm's process, products, and culture. Through project work focused on sales skills, portfolio construction, market research, and resource navigation, you will build a strong foundation for understanding how PIMCO partners with financial advisor clients.
The internship provides excellent development and training to prepare for a career as an Internal Account Analyst at PIMCO - a role that includes obtaining FINRA licenses and building and maintaining relationships with Financial Advisor clients.

The PIMCO Internship Experience:
  • The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program

What to expect during the interview process:
  • After we receive your application, we will conduct an initial review of your resume
  • If you are selected to move forward, you will take a cognitive assessment and have the opportunity to showcase your interests, skills, and personality by completing a one-way video interview
  • Once you complete the assessment and one-way video interview, you will have a final round of live interviews via video conference. These interviews typically include both behavioral and technical questions

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
