Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Sales & Marketing, the Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing and capturing profitable business within an assigned strategic customer portfolio across North America. Success in this position requires a proactive, strategic sales approach and the ability to leverage internal resources to grow account relationships, identify opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to and execute account strategies aimed at achieving preferred supplier status with assigned customers
  • Plan and lead high-level sales initiatives aligned with overall account and company objectives
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key stakeholders across assigned customer organizations
  • Assess customer needs and align NSI-MI capabilities to address technical and business challenges
  • Recommend and promote integrated solutions that deliver value to the customer
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunitiesDocument qualified opportunities and coordinate with the Business Office for response
  • Collaborate with the Business Office to develop capture strategies, pricing approaches, and profitability objectives
  • Support proposal development, customer presentations, and formal responses as needed
  • Drive all quotes and proposals through to final disposition
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers and internal teams throughout order execution
  • Follow up post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and identify follow-on business opportunities
  • Support the installed base and maximize service, support, and upgrade revenue
  • Provide routine internal reporting on account status, opportunities, and proposal activity
  • Support company growth initiatives in Electronic Warfare (EW), New Space, and adjacent markets
  • Support development of aftermarket business, including service, support, and upgrades

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical discipline, or business with demonstrated technical sales experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with a proven track record in technical sales
  • Demonstrated experience selling high-technology products and complex systems or solutions
  • Ability to sell effectively at multiple levels within customer organizations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, for account management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional account teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. and eligibility to access export-controlled information and source code due to the nature of NSI-MI Technologies' programs and products
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 30% or greater)
