Building Location:Business Service CenterDepartment:2048390 CHWE - SMDC HOSPJob Description:The Community & Strategic Relationship Manager is a strategic role designed to enhance public perception, foster meaningful community engagement, and drive organizational growth through targeted initiatives. The manager drives strategy to activate positive public perception, managing community giving programs that align with organizational values, cultivating school partnerships to expand market share, and designing employee appreciation, volunteerism and recognition programs to boost morale and engagement.Education Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in marketing, data analysis, project management, communications, business administration, or other related field.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience in a health care organization and/or consumer-oriented environment or related field or equivalent years of related professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • Master's degree in business administration, Public Administration or related field
  • Experience in grants management, strategic philanthropy, and employee volunteerism
  • Experience in process/systems improvement and program administration
  • Experience in strategic communications
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and sustains strategies to positively influence how the organization is perceived in the community to foster a sense of belonging and active participation
  • Oversees charitable programs that align with the organization's mission and community needs, while analyzing the data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with educational institutions to drive market growth and community visibility, reach and impact
  • Implements programs that celebrate and appreciate employee contributions and volunteerism, reinforcing organizational culture and loyalty
  • Manages school partnership contracts and multi-year community commitments to drive increased value for partnerships
  • Manages community sponsorships for their highest value
  • Seeks and fosters strategic community partnerships and initiates opportunities for Essentia to demonstrate and amplify our values in the communities we serve

Hybrid Nature:

  • Position is operates remotely, however, candidate will need to sit in the Duluth/ Twin Ports area as this person will participate in community events and meetings with external partners in the Twin Ports areas regularly (approximately 8-10 days a month).
