Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Excellence Strategic Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence and support key business objectives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, results-oriented project management professional with experience delivering enterprise-level projects on time and within budget. This individual will excel at stakeholder engagement, project planning, resource coordination, and change management while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to build collaborative partnerships, and a proactive approach to risk management and process improvement are essential for success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with and motivates the team to achieve the project timelines and objectives
  • Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develops full-scale project plans and associated project documents, including resource needs
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations; liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle
  • Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and manages those expectations on an ongoing basis
  • Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Manages and monitors the project budget to ensure effective resource allocation, cost control, and adherence to financial objectives.
  • Determines and assesses the need for additional staff and makes recommendations as appropriate during the project cycle
  • Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and the critical path
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans
  • Conducts project post-mortem reviews and prepares recommendation reports to evaluate project outcomes, highlighting successful practices, areas for improvement, and lessons learned.
  • Assist in developing best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Assist with special project implementations as needed

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three years of experience managing enterprise projects
  • Experience in Hospitality Operations/ and or support functions is preferred 
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including Monday, Smartsheet, and or Microsoft Project, is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Validated leadership and supervisory skills; demonstrated ability to lead, encourage, and empower teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure as a key member of a fast-paced team
  • Able to operate independently as well as part of a team
  • Client Relationship skills
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • Manages and monitors the project budget to ensure effective resource allocation, cost control, and adherence to financial objectives.
  • Able to travel as needed up to 20% - for site visits, mobilization oversight
