What We're Looking For

Works closely with the Corporate Strategy team, Business Unit leadership team, Program Management Office and a broad cross-functional team of integration leaders to successfully integrate Zebra's acquisitions with an emphasis on structuring and executing strategic integration initiatives that are critical to delivering on the Investment Thesis and key value drivers. Leads all integration activities, including managing and supporting both functional and strategic integration activities of the newly acquired business. Takes learnings from prior integrations to develop best practices to use on future acquisitions and develop a process and regular cadence for assessing and reporting out on the performance of acquisitions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with business units and Corporate Development acquisition teams in early deal stages to identify integration issues during diligence and develop a comprehensive integration plan
  • Co‑own integration success with Business Lead from inception to completion
  • Identify and make key integration decisions to deliver on Investment Thesis and key value drivers in partnership with the Business Integration Leader
  • Drive creation and adoption of the Integration Strategy Document (ISD) in conjunction with Business Integration Leader to outline a roadmap for “operationalizing” the Investment Thesis
  • Design and execute an M&A integration plan that connects and efficiently manages the full integration team
  • Identify cross-functional interdependencies and ensure that these activities and decisions are executed in a well‑coordinated fashion
  • Establish and align resourcing plan, including use of outside contractors, if necessary, with functional integration leaders
  • Drive successful day one integration activities of the acquired company with Zebra. Bring best practices from deal to deal to improve and institutionalize the integration process
  • Own post‑mortem evaluation process and track success of acquisitions; manage reporting of acquisitions to Zebra’s senior management team and Board of Directors
  • Able to work hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote from Lincolnshire, IL 25% domestic and international travel
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA preferred 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Candidates with 7+ years of experience in M&A integration may be considered
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Proven project leadership; strong ability to manage large cross‑functional teams
  • Cross‑functional domain knowledge of the key interactions between functions in a large, multi‑national corporation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong business acumen for making key business decisions
  • Technology, Go‑to‑Market, or Systems/Order-to-Cash experience strongly preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $177,920.00 - $266,880.00 Annual Incentive Compensation: In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 25% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
