Strategic Growth Partner information

What is a strategic growth partner?

A Strategic Growth Partner is a professional or organization that collaborates with businesses to identify and pursue opportunities for significant growth. They typically provide expertise in areas such as market expansion, mergers and acquisitions, partnership development, and strategic planning. By working closely with leadership teams, they help set long-term goals, remove barriers to growth, and implement scalable strategies. Their role can be advisory, operational, or a combination of both, depending on the needs of the business.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a strategic growth partner?

To thrive as a Strategic Growth Partner, you need expertise in business development, strategic planning, and financial analysis, often supported by a degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms, market research tools, and analytics systems is typically required. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are crucial for fostering partnerships and driving growth initiatives. These skills and qualities are essential for identifying opportunities, executing growth strategies, and ensuring long-term business success.

How does a strategic growth partner typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business expansion?

Strategic Growth Partners work closely with various departments—such as marketing, sales, finance, and product development—to identify new opportunities and align on growth objectives. They often facilitate regular strategy sessions, coordinate market research, and ensure that initiatives have the necessary resources and executive support. By acting as a liaison between leadership and operational teams, Strategic Growth Partners help translate high-level growth goals into actionable plans while monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed. This collaborative approach is crucial for successfully launching new ventures, entering markets, or scaling existing business lines.

Job description

Join Community
Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, "community" is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered - and we couldn't do it without you.
Make a Difference
The Executive Director, Network Strategic Partnerships and Growth, helps drive strategic growth, market expansion, and partnership development across the organization. In partnership with Product Line Leaders and Regional Presidents, this role leads enterprise-wide initiatives focused on provider growth, business development, school partnerships, and direct-to-employer contracting. The Executive Director develops and executes integrated growth strategies that increase access, market share, revenue, and brand preference while strengthening relationships with physicians, employers, and community partners. This leader collaborates closely with leadership and operational teams to align strategic priorities, advance innovative care delivery models, and ensure successful contract development and management across all partnership channels.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should have the ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives, build influential relationships with physicians, employers, and community partners, and effectively lead complex business development efforts within a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years: Seven or more years of experience in healthcare administration with accountability for business development, provider growth and partnership development.
  • Proven success developing and executing healthcare growth strategies that increase market share, revenue, and access to care.
  • Experience building high-value partnerships with physicians, employers, community organizations, and other strategic stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated success negotiating complex partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse stakeholders around strategic priorities.
  • Experience within an integrated health system, provider organization, payer-provider environment, or healthcare services organization.

Why Community?
At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration. We consider ALL an integral part of the exceptional patient experience. We PRIIDE ourselves on not having employees but Caregivers. Join our Community as we make a difference in your community.
