Riverside OverviewRiverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems. ย  ย All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. ย Position Overview

Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Financial Planning Analyst to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.ย This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team managing a variety of intelligence contracts and task orders on behalf of the customer. They will collaborateย with acquisition leads and support financial planning and execution tracking activities, providingย timelyย reporting and analysis.ย The Financial Planning Analyst will oversee the development and maintenance of resource requirement processes, tools, and documentation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective resource allocation. Analyze data and recommend improvements.ย They will alsoย facilitateย business analytic data aggregation, visualization, and analysis to guide future policy and planning decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide data management and data architecture support and process automation.ย 
  • Translate policy, acquisition, and operational requirements into clearly defined data standards and business logic that support analytics, reporting, and decision-support solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Excel (Power Query), and O365 tools.ย 
  • Produce mission-focused user documentation and technical guidance, incorporating dashboards, data visualizations, and process flows asย appropriate toย improve usability and adoption of analytics tools and reporting solutions.ย 
  • Design and deliver training materials and formal briefings to communicate current and evolving processes, data structures, and analytical tools to government, contractor, technical, and non-technical audiences.ย 
  • Contributeย to the design, development, testing, and sustainment of project tracking, analytics, and visualization tools,ย leveragingย Power BI, Tableau, Excel Power Query, SharePointย permissions and lists, and Power Automateย ย 
  • Utilize SharePoint and Power Automate to support workflow automation, document control, data collection, and process standardization in support of program management and analytics activities.ย 
  • Support contract administration and execution, including tracking of contract deliverables, review of invoices, and monitoring of obligations and expenditures to support program compliance and financial accountability.ย 
  • Coordinate standing or one-time meetings, working groups, or tiger teams as needed; prepare minutes, track status of various projects, draft white papers/briefings and present recommendations to decision makers asย requiredย 
  • Other duties as assignedย 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS clearance with SCI adjudicationย ย 
  • Bachelor'sย in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fieldsย 
  • Minimum 8 years' experience to includeย demonstratedย experience with Tableau, Excelย tools, Power BI and SharePointย 
  • Experience supporting Air Force contract administration and execution, including tracking contract deliverables, reviewing invoices, and monitoring obligations and expenditures across appropriations to ensure compliance with fiscal law, the Anti-Deficiency Act, and program financial accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience with Business Analytics and theย principlesย of analyzing financial and production dataย 
  • Effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills; proficient in MS Word, PowerPointย 
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily directionย ย 
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnelย ย 
  • Adaptability:ย able to balance multiple tasks & shift between projectsย quicklyย 
  • Eagerness toย acquireย new skills based on recognition of customer needย 
  • Open to occasional travelย ย 

Desired Qualifications:ย 

  • Familiarity with National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) intelligence analysis and production processesย 
  • Familiarity with various NASIC contract vehicles such as MEGASTAR, NOVASTAR and COMETย 
  • Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math,ย historyย or related fieldย 
  • Professional certifications in project management, contracting, requirements management, and/or lifecycleย logisticsย (e.g.ย PMP, DAWIA)ย
