Location:Quantico, VA

Employment Type:Full-Time

Security Clearance:Secret (Tier 3)

This position is contingent upon contract award.


Hatalom Corporation is seeking a Strategic Communications Specialist to support Marine Corps University (MCU) and Education Command (EDCOM). This position develops and executes strategic communication initiatives that promote organizational priorities through digital media, public affairs, leadership communications, and stakeholder engagement. This position iscontingentupon award.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that support organizational goals.
  • Create content for newsletters, press releases, websites, social media, and other communication platforms.
  • Manage andmaintainthe organization's social media presence and engagement.
  • Develop talking points, speeches, briefing materials, and executive communications for leadership.
  • Produce multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and infographics.
  • Analyze communication campaign performance and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed of organizational initiatives and events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Maintain a communications calendar and overseetimelypublication of content.
  • Develop partnerships and outreach opportunities to expand organizational visibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or corporate communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office and digital content creation tools.
  • Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense or Federal Government.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar graphic design and multimedia software.
  • Experience with website content management systems and analytics tools.
