SMS Equipment isย seekingย a strategic and data-drivenย Senior Web Optimization Strategistย to strengthen ourย ownedย digital channels and improve how customers engage with SMS Equipment online. In this role, you willย identifyย opportunities for growth,ย develop and execute comprehensive digital optimization projects,ย and support initiatives that improve search visibility, user engagement, lead generation, and conversion outcomes.ย 

Working closely with Marketing & Communications, internal stakeholders, IT, vendors, and agency partners, you will help shape the digital customer journey through website optimization, SEO, AIO/GEO, email marketing, digital contentย enhancements, landing page improvement, lead nurturing, and performance reporting.ย 

Work Location:ย Acheson, ABย 
Salary:ย $95,000 - $105,000 perย annum, based on experienceย 
Work Arrangement:ย Hybridย orย Fixed On-Siteย 
Schedule:ย 8:00 am to 4:30 pmย 

What You'll Doย 

Own and Optimize the Website Experienceย 

  • Buildย and manageย detailed project plans for large website initiativesย based on key businessย objectives.ย 
  • Lead websiteย optimizationย initiatives that improve search visibility, customer engagement, lead generation, and conversionย rates.ย 
  • Ownย quality assurance and testing for features and enhancements, keeping owned channels compliant with brand standards, security, accessibility, andย official-languageย requirements.ย 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, IT teams, agencies, and vendors to deliver digital projects and enhancements.ย 

Lead Generationย and Nurturingย 

  • Design and manageย a CROย program, includingย A/B testing on landing pages andย emails that lift conversion and lead quality.ย 
  • Identifyย andย prioritize opportunities across allย customer journeyย touchpointsย onย owned digital channels to improve lead quality and business results.ย 

Data Analysis & Reportingย 

  • Turn website, campaign, and user-behaviourย data into actionable insights and recommendationsย through regular monitoring and analysis of key metrics.ย 
  • Provide guidance and support to digital marketing team members on content implementation andย optimizationย best practices.

What You Bringย 

You are a digital marketing professional withย 5+ years of experience driving measurable growth through website optimization, lead generation, and customer engagement strategies. You combine strong analytical skills with a passion for creating seamless digital experiences that deliver business results.ย 

Additionalย qualifications include:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, orย a relatedย field.ย 
  • Proven experience with SEO, CRO, email marketing, content marketing, and digital analytics.ย 
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principlesย andย customer journeyย andย landing page optimization.ย 
  • Experience with web content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.ย 
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into effective digital strategies.ย 
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.ย 
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ย 

Nice to Haves:ย 

  • Experience supporting B2B organizations.ย 
  • Knowledge of web design principlesย ย 
  • Experience in the heavy equipment, industrial, construction, or mining sectors.ย 
  • Bilingual in English and French.ย
