Job Description

Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient pain management practice in the Daytona Beach, Florida area.

This opportunity is open to new graduates and experienced Physician Assistants interested in developing or advancing their careers in pain management. The PA will work closely with physicians and the clinical team to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing care for acute and chronic pain conditions.

The position offers a Monday through Friday outpatient schedule, competitive compensation of $110,000, and opportunities for continued professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress
  • Review diagnostic imaging, previous treatment records, and clinical findings
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and pain management strategies
  • Assist with medication management under physician supervision
  • Coordinate care with physicians and clinical support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow all clinical, regulatory, and practice protocols
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active Florida Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
