directing cross-functional teams to keep the assortment pipeline on track.

This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who has owned a large, concentrated retail account

• Build and maintain buyer-side credibility and trust at a senior, strategic level

Account Strategy & Growth

• Own overall account strategy: where the relationship is headed, where risk is building, and where

there is room to expand within the account

program changes) early, with a clear point of view on response

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Set SKU goal strategy against volume targets and licensor commitments, translating

cross-functional input into a coherent account plan

• Set cross-functional direction with Creative, Product Development, and Sales Operations & Pricing

to keep the pipeline and assortment strategy on track, with full ownership of day-to-day decisions

Negotiation & Executive Representation

• Represent Magenta at the executive/strategic level in account negotiations, partnering with Sales

• Track opportunities, orders, and customer communications in the CRM

• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasts

• Coordinate internally on pricing, product availability, and fulfillment

Success Metrics

• Account relationship is stable or growing, with no unplanned share or program loss and credible

progress on any identified expansion opportunity• Cross-functional teams (Creative, Product Development, Pricing) treat this role as the clear, final

decision-maker on account priorities

• Assortment and development process runs on a predictable, well-managed cadence, with visible

improvement in the underlying pipeline

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience owning a large, concentrated retail account relationship at a strategic, client-facing

level (ideally with a major off-price or big-box retailer)

• Track record operating with full autonomy and decision authority, not in a supporting or

escalation-first capacity

• Strong cross-functional leadership across creative, production, and pricing functions

• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Highly organized with strong pipeline management abilities

• Experience using CRM systems

• Thrives in a fast-paced, reactive environment
