Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth (THSW) is a 222-bed full-service facility that includes surgical and imaging services, a 24-hour emergency department, orthopedics and sports therapy, adult critical care, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Texas Health Southwest Fort Worth, which has been serving Tarrant County residents since 1987, has 1,100 employees, 120 volunteers, and more than 600 physicians on its medical staff. What You Need:
  • Education
    Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or other business related is required
  • 3 Years Finance healthcare experience is required and
  • working experience with:Alteryx / Tableau / Teradata highly desired
  • 1 Year Decision support experience is preferred
  • CPA - Certified Public Accountant Upon Hire is preferred Or
  • Other Clinical Certification Upon Hire is preferred Or
  • Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft Office applications, including Access. Prefer experience with relational database technology.

What You Will Do
  • Perform data modeling and data analysis using statistical techniques.
  • Analyze variances reported in order to identify the causes and implications of said variances.
  • Participate in benchmarking efforts that will be used to measure and set goals for improving performance.
  • Establish data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems.
  • Develop and lead training programs for new and current users of decision support system.

Skills
Strong PC literacy with full suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Prefer experience with healthcare decision support systems, such as: EPSi, Strata, or Oracle EPBCS.
