Essential Duties Include the Following:

  • Design and develop automation and SCADA systems within the oil & gas, manufacturing, water and wastewater and supply chain industries
  • Support engineering, design and implementation of automation solutions per customer functional requirements, safety expectations, quality expectations, cost parameters and internal specifications
  • Design and commission automation and SCADA systems including databases and database interfaces, data analytics and reporting, scripting (Python, VB, etc.) and general programming
  • Support SCADA development lifecycle from requirements definition through implementation
  • Develop custom software and scripts to work in conjunction with SCADA systems
  • Integrate and manage SCADA database systems to historians (OSIsoft PI, Canary, etc.) measurement/accounting systems (FlowCal, PGAS, etc.), Leak Detection Systems (ATMOS, Emerson PLM, etc.) and other business intelligence systems for customer reporting and analytics
  • Support project execution and adherence to project schedule throughout lifecycle; report progress to Project Manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with SCADA and HMI design and development in oil and gas, water and wastewater or manufacturing working with industrial control and automation projects
  • Experience with Ignition is required
  • Experience with GeoSCADA, CygNet, Wonderware/AVEVA System Platform, SCADA historians and SQL servers desired
  • Ability to program in SQL, VB, C, C++, C# or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret SCADA systems
  • Strong knowledge of networks including network security and communication protocols
