Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Outpatient RN will provide direct patient care and comprehensive coordination of care for patients and their families/caregivers, to eliminate barriers to timely care, facilitate flow through system, facilitate interactions with clinical care team, increase patient and provider satisfaction, increase patient quality, maintain point of contact with providers and serve as the first point of contact for patients and families.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Of Nursing
  • 3 years clinical nursing experience

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse: CA license (RN:CA)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Mandatory Reporter Adult and Mandatory Reporter Child; tracked through Learning system
  • Knowledge of how to plan and deliver care to a diversion population of patients
  • Ability to communicate and work with people from a variety of age groups, social strata and ethnic backgrounds
  • Time management, public relations promotion, conflict resolution and ability to be creative and innovative
  • Demonstrated ability for problem solving; decision making; and establishing effective rapport with personnel, patients, families, physicians, and colleagues

Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a multi-specialty clinic with three locations in Stockton, California. Along with our local affiliated Dignity Health hospital (St. Joseph’s Medical Center), we offer an integrated care delivery system that provides primary care for family medicine and internal medicine, cancer care (gynecologic oncology and radiation oncology), endocrinology, gastroenterology, and general surgery.
