Job description

Essential Job Functions
  • Manage and oversee time-critical shipments, including air, ground, and expedited freight.
  • Provide real-time tracking and proactive updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with airlines, trucking companies, and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ensure shipments go straight from pickup to delivery without transfers, minimizing handling and transit time.
  • Develop contingency plans for delays and resolve transport-related issues quickly.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to meet client demands.
  • Negotiate pricing and service levels with carriers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations.
  • Analyze performance data and implement process improvements for efficiency.
  • Provide 24/7 support for urgent shipments when required.

Education & Experience
  • 3+ years in time-sensitive logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
  • Experience with NFO (Next Flight Out), OBC (On-Board Courier), and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments.
  • Familiarity with hazmat or temperature-controlled logistics.
  • Multilingual abilities (a plus for international shipments).

Physical Requirements
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location
