Job description

We are looking for experienced Class B truck drivers to operate our dump trucks in a safe and timely manner. You will be hauling dirt, rock, asphalt, milling, etc. JOIN "THE FAMILY" DRIVER POOL. 

(Day and Night Shifts available) ($18/hr for day shifts, $20/hour for night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Earth and asphalt hauling LOCALLY via dump truck.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
  • Document and log work loads.
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
  • Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

  • 2-year work experience as a CDL operator preferred
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • Good MVR
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
  • Valid Class A or B driving license
