Job description

We provide comprehensive, independent financial advice to our clients with one simple transparent fee.?Based in central Indiana, we are committed to empowering the next generation and revolutionizing the financial services industry.?

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in marketing strategies, content creation, and campaign execution — including video content creation and editing for both external marketing and internal communication initiatives.

This in-person internship is in our Carmel, IN office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and execution of internal and external marketing campaigns

  • Conduct market research to understand trends in the financial advisor sector

  • Help design brochures, presentations, and other marketing materials

  • Assist in organizing webinars and educational events

  • Assist in the creation of materials that help tell the Valeo Story

  • Plan, film, edit, and produce video content to support marketing, training, and internal communications

  • Collaborate with team members to storyboard, script, and edit videos for a variety of audiences and platforms

  • Create digital assets to elevate social media messaging

  • Manage digital community among other Valeo Interns

  • Track and communicate digital impact

  • Creatively prepare promotional materials and presentations

  • Identify and complete a summer capstone project

REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field

  • Interest in financial services and understanding basic financial concepts is a plus

  • Familiarity with social media management and digital marketing tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

  • Experience with video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia video tools)

  • Ability to create and edit video content suitable for marketing, training, and internal communications

  • Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

  • Possess and demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
