Job description

Company Description

Segara Coffee is a Reno-based specialty coffee company showcasing the remarkable diversity of Indonesian coffee. We source distinctive coffees from across Indonesia and roast them locally in Reno, with a focus on quality, approachability, and creating memorable experiences around coffee. From local tastings and pop-ups to retail partnerships, we’re building Segara one cup—and one conversation—at a time.

What you’ll do:

  • Represent Segara at local pop-ups, tastings, markets, and events
  • Engage customers and tell the Segara story
  • Offer coffee samples and explain our different coffees
  • Actively sell retail bags and other Segara products
  • Help with simple event setup, breakdown, and keeping the display looking great

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Loves interacting with people and is comfortable approaching customers
  • Enjoys selling and has a natural sense for connecting with people
  • Is dependable, organized, and on time
  • Has a positive, professional presence
  • Can work independently once trained
  • Has a reliable car and can travel to events in and around Reno
  • Is available for occasional weekday evenings and/or weekends
  • Is comfortable learning and following simple coffee brewing methods and preparation instructions
  • Can confidently brew and serve coffee at events after training

Experience in sales, hospitality, retail, food & beverage, events, or brand ambassador work is a plus, but personality, reliability, and willingness to sell matter just as much.

Schedule: Part-time and on-demand. Hours will vary based on Segara’s event calendar.

Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

If you’re someone who gets energy from meeting new people, loves making a sale, and would enjoy introducing Reno to exceptional Indonesian coffee, we’d love to hear from you.

  • To apply: Send us a short introduction, your availability, and any relevant sales, hospitality, retail, or event experience.
