Job description

Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Stormwater Engineer role.  
Candidates should have experience with site civil design, stormwater design and permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, pond recovery programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. 

Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation (preferred)
  • 4 or more years of land development engineering experience and relevant work in stormwater design and permitting
  • Experience of a range of projects including surface water management studies, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, and flood studies
  • Experience with preparing Hydraulic/Hydrology studies, drainage reports, design documents, and design plans and specifications for land development projects
  • High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials specifically WMD staff
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously, great time management skills and self-initiative to meet client deadlines

Desired:
  • Experience with detail site layout and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design
  • Experience with industry software (StormCAD, Hydroflow, ICPR, PONDS, etc) and development of hydrology studies
  • Experience with City, County and State WMD codes and regulations regarding stormwater design
  • Proven ability and experience in interpreting plans, designing stormwater facilities, site grading and permitting
