The role:

We are looking for a skilled lead remediation technician with experience in restoration maintenance or construction who is able to interface with clients, communicate clearly and serve as a team lead in the East Louisville area! This role is an hourly full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. You will provide jobsite leadership and exceptional customer service, reporting to the operations director. Your focus will be working hands-on with the team to help our customers when they have a disaster or emergency that requires cleanup in their home or business. The role will afford you opportunities for advancement as the company grows and according to your qualifications. Core Responsibilities:

·Responsible for physical jobsite disaster cleanup and remediation services.

-Primary point of contact/interaction with clients - explaining job scope with property owner while providing excellent communication and service.

-Maintain vehicle and equipment in a clean, safe and ready state.

-Report into pre/post job briefings.

-Follow basic operating procedures and complete physical and electronic paperwork, forms, and checklists.

·Safely travel to job sites - following all traffic laws and driving regulations

· Perform basic calculations, write, monitor and complete jobs using software.

· Setup and breakdown job sites, plan out and clean up water, mold, fire damage and other disasters while applying remediation techniques/using tools and instruments

· Assist with planning, coordinating, training, job quoting, etc. as required by senior staff/management.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Education:

· Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years prior work experience
  • Prior restoration, maintenance or construction experience
  • Experience with power tools/manual tools and instrumentation/devices/equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Satisfactory driving record/background check
  • Comfortable working with technology (e.g. computers, smart phones, tablets)
  • Positive team player attitude with high standards of integrity and a servant’s heart
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills

· A plus:

  • Safety training, certifications, and/or other licensing (e.g. IICRC certifications)
  • Located in the East Louisville or Shelby County areas

· Strong plus:

  • Maintenance, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, construction, etc./other handywork experience
  • Prior restoration experience
  • Leadership, prior supervisory, and multilingual skills

Job Requirements:

· Able/willing to:

  • travel locally
  • work in potentially challenging conditions/job sites
  • work flexible hours - will have periodic on-call responsibilities 
  • climb ladders, work at height and confined spaces
  • walk and stand for long periods of time including driving, sitting
  • routinely perform repetitive physical labor for sustained periods of time including pushing, pulling, lifting
  • lift up to 60 lbs
  • follow instructions/procedures and perform basic problem-solving
  • become IICRC certified if not already - paid training and education
  • perform all aspects of remediation jobs according to training while providing excellent customer service independently/under limited minimum supervision
