Job description

Position Summary:

 

Selects, delivers, and charges supplies and equipment to hospital departments as directed. Retrieves equipment from various departments, exchanges supply and linen carts and provides operational instructions to equipment users.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

1.      Prints and fills the morning Omnicell restock reports

2.      Selects, delivers, and charges supplies and equipment to hospital departments

3.      Retrieves equipment from user departments and provides operational instructions when requested

4.      Assists with problem-solving equipment malfunctions

5.      Exchanges supply and linen carts

6.      Cleans supply carts and work areas

7.      Inspects packages for expiration dates and rotates supplies appropriately

8.      Notifies Buyer or Supply Chain Manager when stock items need to be reordered

9.      Receives, stores, distributes and safety checks gases and flammable liquids

10.  Assists with year-end inventory and weekly supply audits

11.  Performs other department related duties as assigned
