Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a very fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: As a Storefront Estimator, you will work closely with established accounts and vendors to estimate and provide pricing for projects utilizing online estimating software. You will be responsible for handling communication with customers via email and phone calls, with the goal of providing expedited first-rate service at all times and helping to make their projects successful.
Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
  • One or more years of experience estimating preferably in the architectural glass and aluminum industry.
  • The position will include some inside sales and customer service in addition to estimating.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, creative solution and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Axapta or ERP related systems a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the AutoCAD program a plus.
  • GDS estimating software or related programs a plus.
