Job Summary:
Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is an award-winning manufacturer of premium quality power conversion products. They are seeking a proactive and collaborative Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and other technical issues, ensuring a high level of customer service to maintain smooth IT operations.
Responsibilities:
โข Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
โข Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other desktop equipment/accessories.
โข Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
โข Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
โข Document all support requests, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system.
โข Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
โข Maintain knowledge of company IT policies and ensure compliance.
โข Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT functions and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
โข 1+ years of experience in technical support or help desk environment.
โข Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
โข Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
โข Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
โข Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
โข Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
โข Experience troubleshooting laptop/PC hardware.
Preferred:
โข Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
โข Familiarity with Exchange, Entra and Intune administration
โข Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
โข A+ Certification
โข ITIL Foundations Certification
