Job Summary:
Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is an award-winning manufacturer of premium quality power conversion products. They are seeking a proactive and collaborative Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and other technical issues, ensuring a high level of customer service to maintain smooth IT operations.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner.
โ€ข Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other desktop equipment/accessories.
โ€ข Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
โ€ข Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.
โ€ข Document all support requests, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system.
โ€ข Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
โ€ข Maintain knowledge of company IT policies and ensure compliance.
โ€ข Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT functions and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 1+ years of experience in technical support or help desk environment.
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
โ€ข Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
โ€ข Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools.
โ€ข Experience troubleshooting laptop/PC hardware.
Preferred:
โ€ข Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
โ€ข Familiarity with Exchange, Entra and Intune administration
