Job description

The Store Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the store’s warehouse and service department by assisting in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and general maintenance. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders
  • Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations for efficient retrieval
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
  • Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
  • Assist in store operations by supporting sales personnel with product carry-outs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including warehouse, showroom, and service areas
  • Clean and maintain floor surfaces, ceilings, and windows to ensure a professional presentation.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and fully stocked with supplies
  • Assist in general automotive maintenance using company-provided tools and equipment
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of proper handling, storing, and organizing of warehouse inventory
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of safety precautions in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and team lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, retail, or automotive settings preferred
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse setting with regular interaction in the service department and showroom.
  • May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, varying temperature, and other service and repair conditions
  • Physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
