Job description

Retail Store Processor

Pay:$14.00 per hour
Job Type:Part-time, regular
Schedule:25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Benefits:Accrued sick and vacation time, pension eligibility, 403b option

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor toprocess and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, andhelp meet production goals.

What You'll Do

  • Sort, tag, and price merchandise
  • Help track and report production numbers
  • Move processed merchandise to sales floor
  • Provide friendly, helpful service todonors
  • Receivetrucksand assists to load, unload and move product to the correctdepartments
  • Maintain clean work and storage spaces
  • Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processingand store stock
  • May price items and/or cross train in another store areas.

What You'll Need

Required

  • Ability to process donated merchandise
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Basic communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
  • High school diploma or currently pursuing
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army
