Job DetailsJob Location: Kimberton - Kimberton, PA 19442Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Retail Sales/ManagementSummary of the Position

Provides positive customer relations through personal sales skills relating to all company products and services. Supervises, directs and motivates associates to execute the corporate business plan to maximize sales and profits. Complete Profit & Loss responsibility including store results to plan. Responsible for maintaining store merchandise, appearance standards and all aspects of store operations. Responsible for the training and development of employees through the delegation of responsibilities and follow up accountabilities.

Key Essential Responsibilities
  • A minimum of 75% of time spent selling and promoting all products and services to retail customers.
  • Execute planning, prioritizing and delegating of merchandising and sales promotions in order to maximize sales and profits. Develop maximum productivity through associate training and effective scheduling.
  • Maintains positive customer relations through developing and monitoring of associates customer service skills, personal sales, and effective handling of customer complaints.
  • Personnel Management including selection, onboarding, training, counseling and development of associates. Conduct Performance reviews and salary administration.
  • Create a climate of security and integrity to control inventory shrink from both internal and external theft. Control inventory through auditing paperwork . Enforce safety standards and policies to help reduce Worker’s Comp and Garage Liability claims.
  • Inventory control including analyzing reports, identifying problems, developing and implementing plans for solutions. Manage inventory levels to obtain maximum sales and profits.
  • Maintain facility to business standards including building, equipment, parking lot, and grounds.
  • Ensure store compliance with all Commonwealth of Pennsylvania laws and Department of Transportation regulations regarding motor vehicle safety inspections and emissions inspections and inspection station license requirements, including, but not limited to, compliance with PennDOT Publication 45 Vehicle Equipment and Inspection Regulations, PennDOT Publication 763 Emission Inspection Program, as well as all official updates and bulletins.
QualificationsExperience/Education/Other Requirements
  • 2 years automotive management and/or retail management experience required
  • Some college or post-secondary education is preferred
  • Have a valid drivers’ license
  • Be able to handle prolonged standing and walking; lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Be able to work extended workdays, 10 – 12 hours 3 times a week, which would comprise of a minimum of 2 closing shifts per week (not including Saturday).
  • Be able to handle stressful situations and work in a fast pace environment.
  • Have analytical skills to interpret reports and information and develop strategies.
  • Have extensive verbal communication required for customer and associate relations.
  • Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings
