Job description

Job Description:

Channel Programs & eCommerce Manager

Founded in 1904, ESAB Corporation is a premier narrowly diversified global leader in connected fabrication technology and gas control solutions. Our rich history of innovative products, workflow solutions, and business system, ESAB Business Excellence, enables our purpose ofShaping the World We Imagine. We're looking to hire a talented Channel Programs & eCommerce Manager based in Denton, TX.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Commercial Activation, the Channel Programs & eCommerce Manager will drive profitable growth through ESAB's distribution and partner network across industrial distribution, national accounts, buying groups, distributor eCommerce platforms, ESAB's own marketplace, and Amazon Brand Stores. This individual-contributor role manages ESAB's core North American channel programs - rebates, stocking programs, marketing funds, MAP policy, promotions, SPIFFs, customer portal, and eCommerce initiatives - and leads joint marketing planning for priority customers in partnership with Key Account Managers and Sales.

This is a hands-on program management role. The work includes claims processing, data analysis, pricing updates, product content coordination, vendor management, promotional communications, and program reporting. But excellence in this role goes beyond execution - it requires building strong, trusted relationships across ESAB's Sales organization, distribution partners, and internal teams. You will be a visible, engaged partner to Sales Directors, Key Account Managers, and distributor contacts: listening to their priorities, identifying opportunities, connecting program work to what matters commercially, and bringing ideas forward that make the partnership stronger.

Because you are closest to the data and the customer, you are expected to bring forward insights, optimization recommendations, and commercial thinking that make the programs better. Strategic direction comes from leadership; market intelligence and program-level recommendations come from you.

You will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Commercial Activation on commercial strategy, program direction, and priority-setting while independently owning execution, reporting, and stakeholder management. This role operates in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where the ability to self-manage, prioritize across competing deadlines, and deliver results is essential. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial judgment, industrial-channel knowledge, eCommerce experience, and a track record of independently turning business priorities into effective programs with measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Programs, Customer & Commercial Execution

  • Manage channel programs including rebates, stocking programs, marketing funds, promotions, SPIFFs, end-user incentives, MAP policy, and related channel investments. Develop program objectives, budgets, timelines, communications, and success measures.
  • Lead joint marketing planning and execution for priority customers in collaboration with Key Account Managers and Sales, connecting customer and ESAB priorities across promotions, product launches, eCommerce, merchandising, training, events, and demand generation.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, Sales, and internal stakeholders; proactively resolve issues, maintain accountability for commitments, and serve as a trusted commercial partner to the Sales organization.
  • Support the Advantage customer portfolio through scalable programs, communications, tools, and adoption initiatives. Coordinate customer plans across internal teams and external partners.
  • Build and manage the annual promotional calendar in partnership with Sales, Product Management, Pricing, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Analyze channel, customer, and program performance; provide data-driven recommendations to improve growth, profitability, adoption, and ROI. Maintain consistent and actionable program reporting and stakeholder communication, including proactive risk flagging and escalation with proposed solutions.
  • Own channel communications including program announcements, promotional materials, pricing updates, and customer-facing emails in coordination with MarCom and Sales.

eCommerce, Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop eCommerce growth strategies with distributor partners, Amazon Brand Store, and ESAB's own marketplace to improve assortment, visibility, product content, availability, conversion, and sales. Identify opportunities to grow core and complementary product categories.
  • Partner with Product Management, MarCom, and IT to improve digital product content and new-product readiness across priority partner platforms and ESAB's customer portal.
  • Monitor online pricing and administer ESAB's MAP and related channel policies.
  • Manage external vendor and partner relationships (program platforms, marketplace partners, agency resources), including scope definition, timeline management, performance expectations, accountability, and reporting.
  • Drive cross-functional deliverables through Sales, Product Management, MarCom, Finance, and other teams without positional authority - owning outcomes that depend on stakeholders who do not report to you.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, channel marketing, distributor management, eCommerce, sales operations, or commercial program management, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.

  • Experience managing channel programs such as rebates, stocking programs, marketing funds, promotions, or sales incentives, including developing and executing customer marketing or commercial growth plans.
  • Solid eCommerce experience, including distributor websites, marketplaces, digital merchandising, product content, search, and conversion.

  • Strong project-management skills: ability to build and manage project schedules, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver multiple concurrent programs on time without day-to-day direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting program performance and recommendations to Sales, leadership, and customers.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with Sales teams, distribution partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to quickly adapt to new products, customers, systems, and changing business priorities.
