What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a store manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Store Manager, you need expertise in retail operations, inventory management, and leadership, usually supported by experience in retail and a high school diploma or higher. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, scheduling software, and inventory tracking tools is typically required.
