Job description

Responsible for assisting with the overall day-to-day operations of the store including continuous development of effective store associates to achieve desired sales and EBITDA results. Daily assess the stores' ability to meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, cleanliness, food safety and regulatory compliance. Assist with the coaching and development of store associates through both formal and informal interactions. Supports all aspects of the Full, Fresh, and Friendly Strategy.   • Analyze and respond to the competitive landscape within the area
  • Utilize team to ensure store departments are achieving sales and profit goals and ensure implementation, and execution of division merchandising plans
  • Serve as liaison providing feedback to Store Leader, Area Leader, and Director of Operations on the effectiveness of Division merchandising and operational plans and programs
  • Assist the store leader in staffing, reducing turnover, increasing retention and store operations
  • Provide timely feedback to team members on individual and department performance
  • Assist with the management of labor and supply costs daily to meet customer service and financial targets
  • Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing and walking 100% of the time, lifting an average of 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, bending, twisting/turning, manual dexterity, and repetitive motion of hands/wrists
