Join to apply for the Store Leader (Manager) role at 7-Eleven As a Store Leader, you will oversee store operations and implement our company's Servant Leadership. You'll learn about 7‐Eleven's Retailer Initiative strategy and be trained on our Retail Information System inventory management and ordering technology. You'll also assist with managing the store staff – coaching, training, feedback, and scheduling – after completion of the required training and certifications.

Key Duties And Responsibilities Ensure prompt, efficient and courteous guest service for yourself and the store employees. Handle escalated customer concerns and emergencies, seeking appropriate resolution while observing company guidelines. Maintain positive employee relations and morale by supervising employees and ensuring that company policies and procedures are being followed and maintained. Ensure employees perform responsibilities per their job description. Monitor customer and employee safety – follow reporting per company policies.

Follow all company expectations, guidelines and policies as well as compliance with federal and local laws. Effectively manage all food programs, food preparations, food safety and 7Now programs. Forecast, order, stock, and merchandise product. Conduct inventory counts, submit invoices and reconcile reports. Aid in ensuring prompt reconciliation of store operations paperwork and cash/lottery reconciliation. Aid in maintaining a clean, guest friendly environment in the store. Employee must handle liquids, and certain cleaning solvents.

Utilize company expectations, store metrics, shops/visits and store reporting to positively affect change. Hire, train, mentor and coach employees, including disciplinary accountability. Committed to work assigned hours of at least 50 hours per week. Must be able to work flexible hours (night, weekends, holidays, and occasional on‐call duty). On‐call duty will require the ability to be contacted outside of scheduled hours. Applicable compensation will be applied for hourly positions. Stores operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Ability to cover any shift based on the needs of the business. This may include working more than a scheduled 50‐hour work week. See Employee Handbook – California Addendum for state specific requirements.

Education And Experience

High School/GED. 1+ year(s) of relevant work experience. 1+ year(s) of management experience. Valid Driver's License from the state of residence and maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment. Current food handlers or food safety certification as required by county. Specific Knowledge And Skills Experience as Store Leader; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desire to be part of a performance‐driven team.

Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, for all store employees. Demonstrated strength maintaining high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity. Ability to implement all food, merchandising and marketing programs. Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting our loyalty program. Strong mathematics ability.

Demonstrated ability maintaining a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures. Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills. Proficient computer knowledge. Frequent walking and standing with occasional reaching, stooping, and sitting, kneeling, crouching, squatting and climbing, including climbing ladders. Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, pushing and pulling. Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting.

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds. The ability to multi‐task. Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands all day. This handwork requires eye‐hand coordination and may require bilateral coordination of hands, up to four hours of the workday. Employee performs approximately 95% of work indoors. Outside work will be required. Employee is exposed to intermittent indoor cold temperature extremes when working in the walk‐in cooler and/or freezer. Reliable transportation for scheduled shifts.

Must meet transportation requirements per banking policies. Reliable source of communication to be contacted by supervisors and/or store employees. High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required for candidates that have at least one year of retail management experience. Authorized to work in the United States. Must meet the minimum age requirements as defined per company policy.
