Position Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and daily operations of an assigned Colours, Inc. store location. This role ensures high standards of customer service, inventory management, team development, and operational efficiency while driving sales growth and profitability.
The Store Manager leads by example, fosters a customer-focused environment, and holds employees accountable for performance and company standards. Success in this role requires strong leadership, business management skills, and the ability to balance operational execution with revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all daily store operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop store employees while establishing clear expectations and holding the team accountable for performance.
  • Drive sales growth by supporting customer relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and maintaining strong engagement with key accounts.
  • Manage inventory levels including ordering, stock rotation, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, overstock control, and vendor returns to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance including sales reports, margins, expenses, and customer account aging to ensure store profitability and compliance with company goals.
  • Ensure accurate processing of transactions, customer orders, and product fulfillment while maintaining proper documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment that reflects company standards and brand professionalism.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or service issues promptly to maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention.
