The Role

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time throughout Ballerina Farm's retail operations. This role oversees inventory planning, replenishment, receiving, transfers, merchandising coordination, and inventory accuracy while supporting an exceptional customer experience in our retail spaces.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of inventory management and retail operations. What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Manages all ordering platforms and coordinates daily stock requests
  • Oversees inter-store and inter-departmental transfers
  • Receives inventory and ensures accurate database entry
  • Maintains back stock organization and proper product rotation
  • Conducts weekly inventory counts and reconciliations
  • Forecasts product needs based on sales trends and seasonal demand
  • Analyzes product performance and inventory requirements
  • Partners with retail staff to ensure products are properly stocked, rotated, and displayed
  • Manages relationships with outside vendors
  • Implements audits, procedures, and staff training to minimize loss
  • Generates weekly invoices and daily out-of-stock reports
  • Designs and executes daily store layouts and visual displays
  • Ensures all product labels, signage, and in-store messaging are accurate and properly placed
  • Maintains brand consistency across the sales floor
  • Assists with last-minute creative requests and experiential details
  • Implements planning and placement for new product launches


What Youโ€™ll Needย 

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management, retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends, forecast demand, and make inventory recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience conducting inventory counts, reconciliations, and investigating discrepancies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience training and coaching team members on inventory processes and best practices preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory reporting tools.
  • Experience working with perishable products, food products, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
  • Experience in retail merchandising, visual presentation, or product launches is a plus.
