Store Auditor Job description (current S amp;G)
Summary: This is an hourly position responsible for counting store inventories on a daily basis. Prior audit+counting experience required. Will be part of a team that counts different stores each day. Accuracy and proficiency are critical for this role. Typically works Monday through Friday first shift, may have occasional weekend assignments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Able to work with people as part of a team and relate to Store personnel in a professional, respectful manner
โ€ข Proficient with the PDI handheld computer and other equipment.
โ€ข Achieve established productivity goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all audits worked.
โ€ข Ability to work assigned shifts. Usually daytime Monday to Friday, although rarely but some Saturdays on occasion.
โ€ข Ability to work in various work environments to include walk in coolers and freezers, and due to varying locations and their layout.
โ€ข Ability to relate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation.
โ€ข Demonstrates a sense of urgency and delivers excellent output
โ€ข Uses computer and basic Office programs such as email, Excel, etc
Demands/requirements:
โ€ข Ability to count quickly and accurately
โ€ข Ability to do repetitive tasks
โ€ข Must have the utmost integrity and pass a background check
โ€ข Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all duties.
โ€ข Access to reliable transportation.
โ€ข Able to work for extended periods of time (frequent)
โ€ข Conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately and quickly (frequent)
โ€ข Prolonged standing with occasional walking (frequent)
โ€ข Repetitive motions requiring use of both wrists and hands as well as fingers (frequent)
