Position Description: Position Summary
To maintain the back room, sales floor and common areas while ensuring a clean and safe work environment, excellent donor and customer experience, and pleasant volunteer work experience. 
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Make decisions regarding donations, pricing, and interactions with donors and volunteers, following established policies and procedures. 
Assess the condition and acceptability of incoming donations, ensuring adherence to policies regarding unacceptable items.  
Clean and price incoming materials according to established procedures and criteria.  
Manage the flow of incoming materials into the store or designated processing areas to ensure a well-stocked and organized sales floor.  
Load and unload vehicles receiving or delivering materials to/from the store.  
Regularly communicate with the ReStore staff regarding progress, suggestions and issues.  
Train seasonal Store Associate staff in ReStore operations. 
Ensure that all areas of the backroom, store and surrounding areas are clean and safe.  
Maintain the security of the backroom, implementing policies to minimize theft.    
Drive or assist drivers in moving ReStore merchandise when requested.  
Adhere to established safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment for volunteers, customers and donors.  
Ensure quality relations with customers, volunteers and donors, addressing comments and grievances professionally and promptly.  
Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning bathrooms and breakrooms and mopping as scheduled by the supervising team.  
Develop strong, positive and lasting relationships with staff and volunteers throughout the organization. 
Communicate with donors and customers, primarily on program-specific duties. 
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
