Job description

The UPS Store in Westford, MA is currently searching for an experienced Retail Sales Associate to work full time (up to 40 hours per week).

Our store hours are Mon-Fri 8am-6:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-3:00pm. Preferred shift hours include working Saturday and / or Sunday.

The Retail Sales Associate must have the ability to learn quickly, give great customer service, have willingness to work well under pressure, and must be able to lift 40 lbs. Duties include processing packages for shipment, operate copiers/fax machines, and point-of-sale devices. The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business.

The average workday will involve standing for long periods of time, packaging, operating registers and providing customer services.

Retail Sales Associate responsibilities include;

- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries

- Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members

- Take ownership of the customer's shipping problem and offer viable solutions

- Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

- Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

We will strongly consider applicants with experience in Retail Sales, Sales Associate, and/or Sales Representative.
